Healthy, refrigerated vegetable food products that are vegan, probiotic, non-GMO, gluten free and distributed to over 2000 grocery retailers and natural food stores nationwide.

Responsibilities:

This position creates and executes the vision, strategy, and tactical plans needed to achieve Operations, Maintenance, and Safety excellence.

Provide needed visible and actionable leadership to ensure that finished goods are timely produced to specifications, while meeting food safety and cost targets.

Active in the day-to-day operations in production, packaging, and distribution.

Direct product line expansion initiatives.

Develop and maintain robust food safety protocols to ensure compliance.

Responsible for creating a continuous improvement framework.

Measures and ensures key goals and objectives are achieved related to safety, maintenance programs, food safety and compliance, cost savings, margin improvement.

Work with ownership on plant improvement and growth.

Manage the hiring, training, and employee reviews.

Qualifications:

10+ years progressive leadership experience in relevant commercial food operations.

Strategic and tactical expertise and experience with quality / compliance standards.

Ability to improve existing systems or procedures that periodically result in new ideas or approaches of considerable significance.

Understanding of yields, plant efficiencies, and operations procedures.

Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Base salary $100-115K + 20% performance bonus based on established and achieved KPI’s, 401K plan, Monthly Insurance Stipend, paid vacation, paid holidays, and relocation assistance.
