CNC Machinist

LOCATION: Onsite in Algona, WA

PAY RANGE: $27-$38/hr

SHIFT: Weekend Day (Fri- Sun, 4:30am-5:00pm) or Weekend Night (Fri-Sun, 4:30pm-5am)

ROLE SUMMARY

The CNC Machinist operates machining tools and equipment, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and optimizing production processes to meet or exceed setup and cycle time standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate and set up various machines, including 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC mills, with minimal supervision.

Load, adjust, and edit CNC programs; write basic tooling programs.

Perform advanced quality inspections and apply blueprint/GD&T knowledge.

Troubleshoot production issues and ensure proper documentation and processes.

Maintain a clean, organized workspace and prepare machines for the next shift.

Support additional tasks like spot-checking parts and deburring as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

3+ years of CNC machining experience required.

Experience on 3,4,5 axis mills required.

Knowledge and ability to understand "G" and "M" codes required.

Able to work within tight tolerances.

Able to use precision measuring tools.

Able to comprehend and read blueprints, schematics, and drawings.

Able to follow directions in a fast-paced production environment.
