Qualifications

Have a strong and comprehensive understanding of multi (4 & 5) axis CNC machining.

Familiarity with Siemens control

Understand the complexity and challenges that come with a job shop environment

Have confidence in abilities while also being willing and capable of learn and working in team environment to achieve company objectives.

Have an open mind and willingness to take on new challenges and prove out new processes.

Work overtime as required to meet assigned objectives.

Full description

We are seeking a highly skilled multi-axis CNC mill machinist to setup and run jobs on high speed vertical and horizontal mills. Our company primarily serves the aerospace industry.

This position will challenge a machinist with multiple complex setups and runs each day.

Setup and run multiple 3, 4, and 5 axis mills using Grob, Toyoda, and Haas mills.

Regularly maintain conformity of +.0005”

Bring ideas to the table for continual improvements in machining practices

Qualified candidates will:

o Have a strong and comprehensive understanding of multi (3-4-5) axis CNC machining

o Be familiar with Siemens and Fanuc controls

o Understand the complexity and challenges that come with a job shop environment

o Be able to utilize integrated probing systems as it applies to checking dimensions and finding offsets

o Understand high efficiency tool path, shrink fit holders and specific cutters for different processes

o A positive attitude, open mind, and willingness to take on new challenges are ABSOLUTE requirements for this position.
