Accounts Payable Specialist
Texas, Houston, 77001 Houston USADescription Our client in the renewables energy industry is currently in need of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team based in Houston, Texas on a direct hire basis. This role involves handling tasks related to Accounts Payable (AP), Account Analysis, Account Reconciliation, and using NetSuite and Microsoft Excel. Responsibilities: Handle the processing of around 300 invoices on a weekly basis Utilize NetSuite software for various accounting tasks Perform full cycle Accounts Payable tasks including data entry and invoice management Handle overflow invoices and ensure they are processed in a timely manner Maintain accurate records of customer credit Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as necessary Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns Ensure all customer applications are processed accurately and efficientlyRequirements Proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP) Familiarity with account analysis and account reconciliation processes Knowledge and proficiency in using NetSuite software for accounting tasks Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and vlookup functions Ability to interpret financial data and communicate findings effectively Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Good interpersonal skills for communication with internal and external stakeholders Ability to work independently and as part of a team Degree in finance, accounting or a related field would be advantageous Commitment to continuous professional development in the field of accounting.
