As an Accountant 2, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing financial statements from applicants to determine if they are able to self-insure. Working as part of a team to tackle workloads is an essential part of this position. Not only will you work closely with other employees, but you will also need to contact applicants to work through deficiencies found on applications or their financial statements. You will also preform audits relating to workers compensation funds to ensure they comply with the statues of the Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Act.Interested in learning more? Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed Internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:One year as an Accountant 1; or
Two years of professional accounting experience, and graduation from a four-year college or university, including or supplemented by fifteen credits in accounting; or
Four years of bookkeeping experience and fifteen college credits in accounting may be substituted for college graduation. A Master's degree in Accounting or a related field may be substituted for one year of general work experience.
