Within this role, you will serve as the Sales Audit Manager within the Cash Management and Sales Audit Division for the PLCB. The ability to effectively lead and collaborate with others is imperative, as you will be responsible for overseeing internal operating controls, processes, and practices for the Sales Audit team and managing the sales audit process for the point-of-sale (POS) transaction data for PLCB Wholesale and Retail operations. This professional provides supervision and guidance to a team of lower-level accountants to ensure duties are completed accurately and timely.You will also have the opportunity to develop sales auditing processes for new retail promotional programs to ensure they are current, adequate, functional, and compliant within established accounting standards and policies. As an Accountant 3, you will manage the accounting and reporting of the Liquor License Fund in accordance with the Pennsylvania Liquor Code, in addition to reviewing activities relating to the semi-annual return of License Fees to municipalities.The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, supervisory experience, and internal controls experience.Interested in learning more? Full-time employment.
Work hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time, with the exception of reporting to the Northwest Office Building on Board meeting dates once every two to three weeks, and as operational needs dictate. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters Northwest Office Building in Harrisburg.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as an Accountant 2; or
Three years of progressively responsible professional accounting experience, and graduation from a four-year college or university, including or supplemented by fifteen credits in accounting.
Four years of bookkeeping experience and fifteen college credits in accounting may be substituted for college graduation. A Master's degree in Accounting or a related field may be substituted for one year of general work experience.Other Requirements:

You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.
