San Carlo Osteria Piemonte, opened in 2016 and located, in the heart of Soho, serves traditional northern Italian, focus on regional Piedmontese dishes with a contemporary touch in a modern setting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Italian cuisine and be able to create seasonal menus that are both delicious and visually appealing. The Executive Chef will also be responsible for managing the kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute seasonal menus

Manage kitchen staff

Maintain all health department and sanitizing standards.

Manage and educate the kitchen team throughout preparations and services.

Maintain a positive work environment

Represent the restaurant at industry events

Qualifications/Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef

Strong understanding of Italian cuisine

Organizational skills

Excellent culinary skills

Calculate food cost and maximize profitability

Ability to manage a team

Attention to details

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Food handler certificate

Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays
