CAFE COOK/BARISTA

Chez Alex, busy coffee shop in Bed-Stuy is looking for experienced cafe cook/barista (barista experience isn’t necessary, we will train). We need energetic and friendly individual who will be comfortable working in the kitchen ( making sandwiches/salads/toasts) and in the front (taking orders, making espresso drinks).

Requirements:

- weekend availability

- kitchen experience

- food handlers certificate ( if you don’t have it, you must obtain it within a month)

What we offer:

34 hours to start ( two morning 8.30am- 5pm and two closing shifts 9.00am- 5.30pm)

Pay starts at 19per hour plus tips ( pay after tips is 26-32$).
