Friend of a Farmer has been open since 1986 and continues to grow with a new restaurant on the Upper West Side. Managers will take a hands on approach, focusing on items such as staff development and training, opening and closing responsibilities and guest communications. As a farm-to-table establishment, the AGM will correspond with front and back of house on seasonal food and beverage menu items. There are many opportunities to grow within our company and take on additional responsibilities while also bringing new ideas to the brand.

Role Responsibilities:

Opening and closing restaurant responsibilities

Staff communications, development, on boarding and training

Content and menu development

Updating content within Toast POS and 7Shifts

Guest Relations

Inventories

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree

NYC Food Handlers License

3-5 Years in management position

5+ Years in Hospitality industry

Extensive bar & food knowledge

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work long, flexible hours (evenings, weekends and holidays)

Experience in working in high volume and fast paced environments
