Assistant General Manager

Job Summary:

The assistant general manager will focus on all front-of-house operations for Friend of a Farmer. This includes but are not limited to: staff development and training, inventories, opening and closing responsibilities, daily paperwork, and guest relations. In addition the assistant general manager will correspond with front & back of house management, staff & ownership on menu and content development, problem solving and other opportunities.

Opening and Closing Restaurant Responsibilities

Staff Development and Training

Daily Paperwork

Content Development

Problem Solving

Updating Content on POS (TOAST)

Guest Relations

Additional duties assigned

Inventories

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

NYC Food Handler's License

2-3 Years in a management position

3-5 Years in hospitality

Extensive Bar & and Food Knowledge

Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to form and present recommendations at all levels

Ability to work long, flexible hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays)

Ability to succeed in a high volume and fast paced environment
