Multi-unit NYC restaurant company seeking Assistant General Manager. We need someone who can balance the need to fit into to our organizational structure with the drive to work independently with a ‘run it like you own it’ mentality.
This role requires the following skills and abilities:
- Commanding floor presence creating great guest experiences, establishing credibility with team, and leading effective shifts.
- Full cycle staff management: recruit, select, on board, train, retain, develop, and build the team. Ensure the restaurant is staffed to be both operationally and financially effective.
- Ability to handle all administrative responsibilities: schedules, tip sheets, compliant on boarding, payroll, event management, purchasing, inventory, general tasks related to maintaining our financial reporting, licensing, permits etc.
- Ability to operate all SaaS, Tech, and business operating platforms including but not limited to Reservations/ Table management, POS, HRIS, Delivery Partners, Event Management, office suite, R365, etc.
- Experience acclimating to current operations, assimilating systems and procedures, and building stability and consistency. Then moving forward with improvements.
- Ability to review business reports such as P&L, guest feedback, and other KPI’s with senior management, devise strategies, and implement effective change.
- Manage the facility maintenance, associated vendors, and projects. DOH standards and a pristine facility.
Experience requirements:
- Recognizable NYC restaurant experience as a GM
- Documented career stability and growth
