In addition to the B2B Institute, the Customer Science organization includes Customer Insights, Content Solutions, Measurement Analytics Partners, Customer Solutions Engineering and our automation & scaling team that supports our Customer Science tooling ecosystem & Programs.About the RoleWe are looking for a leader to join us as Head of North America for The B2B Institute. In this role, the leader will work with the B2Bi Leadership Team, fellow NAMER Customer Science leaders and a wide array of partners across our cross functional ecosystem. They will be responsible for executing against the global B2Bi strategy at a regional level for North America. This role is for a versatile leader who wants to be part strategist, ambassador, consultant, manager, conference speaker, researcher, writer, and editor. Being commercially minded, this person will take pride in being an integral member of the LinkedIn Customer Science Organization. Responsibilities
Act as an industry and client ambassador for the future of B2B marketing effectiveness, and LinkedIn’s perceived value in shaping it. Demonstrate exceptional communication skills as an influential and passionate advocate for marketing effectiveness and a salesperson of ideas.
Lead from the front by being present out in market in client meetings and at industry events, engaging with LinkedIn’s external relationships. This will include public speaking, delivering keynotes and contributing to panel discussions and round tables in addition to consulting directly with Senior Industry leaders & Execs of our customers.
Lead thought-leadership sessions and workshops at key client meetings, larger client events and industry conferences. Specific outputs include development and delivery of narratives that tie fundamental B2B marketing insights into actionable recommendations that inspire media planners and buyers to act and invest in LinkedIn Marketing Solutions offerings.
Help to drive commercial results by working with sales to drive adoption of IP/research that leads to larger deal sizes and more strategic relationships.
Represent the Insights team at senior client meetings, executive briefings & customer events.
Focus you and your team on the most high-impact activities and maintain strong measurement of the team's influence to ensure we optimize our impact as a team.
Inspire the team to do their best work and, through active development and coaching, prepare everyone for the next step in their career at all levels.
Contribute to global programs, as an executive sponsor or lead for programs that are cross-functional or cross-Customer-Science in nature.
Collaborate effectively against joint objectives with your regional peers across all other capabilities within the Customer Science Organization and cross-functional partners. Be a world-class collaborator who can build trust, influence, co-create and distribute ideas and distill complex concepts into actionable, simple solutions.
Understand LinkedIn’s product suite and value proposition and industry context inside and out at the expert level, and act as a consultant to CMOs and other senior clients.
Author content frequently for external publication.
Model LinkedIn’s culture and values, and coach and encourage others to model these values.

Basic Qualifications
7+ years in enterprise leadership roles in digital media and marketing such as agency and/or client-side planning and strategy, business development, research, consulting, editorial or trade marketing, communications, and industry engagements
5+ years of experience managing teams
Background in quantitative and qualitative research techniques with experience leading research or market insights teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong adaptive and intuitive communication style and skills that can align with the priorities of our diverse audience and sales leaders. Strong listening and facilitation skills, with attention to detail, quality, and accuracy. Ability to co-lead with sales partners and working through others.
Strong consultative sales and exceptional presentation skills in front of small and large groups of varied seniority.
Credibility as a marketing thought leader and deep industry expertise. Experience marketing to B2B and/or High Consideration B2C sectors (e.g. Technology, Financial Services, Professional Services, Luxury) .

The pay range for this role is $141,000 to $220,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
