Job DescriptionWe are hiring a North Region Rental Coordinator at our Curtis Bay plant in Baltimore, MD! The North Region Rental Coordinator helps coordinate quotes, purchase orders, receipt, return, and invoicing of rental equipment for the North American Locations including reconciliation of planned vs. actual costs. Responsibilities
Assure regulatory compliance, including environmental and process safety, and a safe workplace for all employees. Address hazards, deviations, and injuries in a timely manner.
Takes individual responsibility for a continually improving the safety performance of the department by conducting safety inspections, ensures training compliance, works with EHS Department to identify and correct any hazards or concerns that arise.
Ensures compliance to OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations and standards.
Handles vendor performance issues.
Provides off shift instructions for rental vendors as needed. .
Negotiates elimination of charges for rental equipment that could not be utilized based on breakdowns not caused by Grace.
Investigates and resolves any equipment damage claims made by rental vendors.
Works in concert with Maintenance Coordinators, Project Engineers, and others for scheduling rentals.
Oversees PM maintenance requests and coordinates shutting down long term rental equipment for PMs and repair.
Supports zero energy and other safety initiatives with respect to rentals and other duties.
Monitors use of long term rental equipment and adjusts fleet with use.
Supports and conducts training activities and initiatives with respect to the Rental program.
Performs other duties as required.
Physical Requirements and Environment
Must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb stairs and ladders over 100 ft.
Must be willing to wear PPE (Personal Protective equipment) including but not limited to hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respirator
Ability to work in a high hazard environment, including adverse weather conditions, elevated spaces, confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and noisy surroundings.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
5+ years of experience in the rental equipment industry
Ability to lead change initiatives and implement improvements
Excellent communications skills
Ability to resolve personnel, safety, contractual and issues both independently and with appropriate resources efficiently and effectively
Proficient in Microsoft Office software (WORD and EXCEL).
Proficient in SAP (Requisitions, Goods Receipts, Work Orders)
Proficient in Ariba (Requisitions, Goods Receipts)
Excellent organizational skills to maintain timely an accurate responses to internal customers.
Excellent follow-up skills to achieve on-schedule performance.
