Full job description

Are you a strong operations/logistics manager who is passionate about your team and your company? Do you enjoy warehouse operations and helping your company be the best it can be? If you said yes to these questions, we want to hear from you.

Redi Carpet, the nations' largest multi-family flooring company is looking for an Operations Manager. This person coordinates the daily installation process by organizing the schedule, assigning crews, and supervising the load-out process. Special attention must be given to maintaining acceptable installation standards.

Responsibilities (include, but not limited to the following):

Schedule daily installations

Communicate installation information to installers

Identify and cultivate quality flooring installation contractors

Review and approve installer payroll

Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations

Ensure that waste disposal, recycling income, repair and maintenance, utility, uniform, supply gain, and operations labor expenses remain at or below budget goals

Ensure compliance with all OSHA standards regarding forklift operation and warehouse working conditions

Ensure that first-aid kits are accessible and fully stocked

Assist with annual budgeting process

Assist with quarterly physical inventory counts

Assist with various tasks as requested by supervisor or the corporate staff

Important Goals and Deadlines:

Strive to complete all installations on the day originally requested

Process work order and labor ticket paperwork daily

Inspect staging area following load-out to identify products that did not ship

Inspect pad cut bins for appropriate stocking levels

Qualifications:

High School Graduate or GED

Warehouse experience preferred

Resourceful with excellent critical thinking & problem-solving skills

Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred

Flooring Experience Preferred

Salary:

$50,000 to $60,000 annually depending on experience.
