Heavy Construction Company in Fairfax, VA is seeking an experienced office assistant with background in construction. This is an entry level position that requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented and dedicated individual with the opportunity of advancement within the company.

Job Description

 Assist project manager with project related responsibilities

 Set up new projects and complete assigned tasks until project completion

 Prepare, organize and update project information for field employees

 Maintain various logs tracking project tasks and updates

 Maintain electronic and paper filing of project documents

Requirements

 Must have prior experience (3+ years working in a construction company)

 Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office (Specifically EXCEL)

 Experience with obtaining construction permits

 Attention to detail and accuracy

 Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

 Strong work ethic, high-level of professionalism and “can-do” attitude

 Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with personnel at all levels

 Must be punctual, reliable and trustworthy

 Bilingual preferred (English / Spanish)
