Position Overview-

Manage legal aspects of the firm’s litigation practice.

Portfolio management of an average of 50-75 active litigation cases focusing on pretrial practice, trial practice, and appellate practice with an emphasis on case oversight, strategic planning, client communication, document management, risk assessment, and settlement negotiations.

Serve as lead counsel during stages of litigation focusing on pre-litigation, pleadings, discovery, trial preparation, trial attendance, post-trial, and appeals.

Guide operational staff in implementing procedural changes and approve these changes as needed.

Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned based on the firm’s needs and on your career development/progress.

Experience and Competencies

Required-

Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school

License to practice law in Colorado

3-5 years of experience as lead counsel representing financial institutions in contested litigation

Our ideal candidate will bring with them-

Admission to practice before all three Colorado federal districts

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Superior organizational skills

Proficiency in legal research applications such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, or other related systems.

Experience in managing contested default cases and banking litigation specific to the jurisdiction

What you can look forward to

Work Location and Schedule

We practice law in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas and Washington. Our York, Nebraska office supports all locations. This hybrid position requires onsite presence in our Centennial, Colorado location 2-3 days per week after a 90-day training period and upon management approval.

Typically, your schedule will be Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Pay Range- $90,000 To $125,000 Per Year
