We are a startup firm with an exponentially expanding caseload.

Position Overview:

Do you have a passion for the law and helping people? Want to be on the ground level of an expanding startup? We seek an Associate Attorney with focus in family law to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of hands-on experience demonstrating a strong understanding of divorce, child custody, guardianship (including emergency guardianship), spousal support, and related matters. Estate Planning, Trusts, and Probate experience, or eagerness to learn, are also helpful. We’re happy to train and will give you as much as you can take on!

Responsibilities:

1. Manage a caseload of 25-40 matters from inception to resolution.

2. Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.

3. Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.

4. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

5. Provide strategic legal advice to clients based on a thorough understanding of their individual cases.

6. Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and contribute to case strategy.

Time Requirements:

Both In-Office and work-from-home.

Requires some in-state travel when needed.

Flexible Hours

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Admission to the Colorado Bar.

2-4 years of experience practicing law, including family law.

Probate experience helpful

Personal Injury knowledge helpful

Strong knowledge of family law statutes, rules, and procedures.

Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Courtroom experience.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000 per year depending on experience, full or part time TBD
