Landscape Maintenance

Experienced Landscaper/Gardner - Sonoma, CA

Our Sonoma Landscape and Gardening crew is looking for individuals who wish to be part of a team atmosphere, where you will be working solo and/or with other team members to build and maintain a world class estate. You must be a self-starter who is detail oriented and hard-working. The position requires hard physical labor but also allows for problem solving to achieve our project goals. Learning new skills will be required of each team member as new projects begin and you follow each task to completion.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The major responsibilities of the position may include, but are not limited to:

Organizing yourself and your projects in a professional manner

Keeping all work areas neat and tidy at all times to maintain the aesthetic of the estate

Maintaining property grounds including planted areas, turf, hardscape

Removing invasive plants using manual and mechanical methods

Minimum Job Requirements:

Must have at least 2 years of experience in landscape and garden maintenance

Ability to demonstrate ornamental, and natural pruning of non native, and native species

Ability to work outside year-round

Must be able to lift 50+ lbs

Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality and privacy

Valid California Driver's license, clean driving record and a reliable means of transportation

Full background security check

Ability to use gas-powered equipment and power tools safely

Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Skilled self starter who can follow projects to completion

Ability to be punctual and keep a good attendance record

Must be able to communicate in English.

Education & Experience

Candidates must have 2 years experience in landscape maintenance residential or commercial
