Journeyman, Lead Carpenter

True North Construction is looking to hire a Journeyman Carpenter to start immediately. We are a custom home builder that has been building in Marin and San Francisco for 30 years. Please see our website at truenorthconstruction.com Our office is located in San Rafael.

Looking for self starters with strong work ethic.

Must have good communication skills.

Must be neat and organized.

We prefer Journeyman applicants with at least 5 years carpentry experience.

We are a new from ground up and remodel builder.

Job duties would include carpentry of all types from framing through finish with a heavy emphasis on finish.

Pay is based upon experience and proficiency, see compensation below.

Must be able to work closely with and get along with others.

Must be able to follow plans/instructions.

Must have most carpentry tools, some large tools are provided.

This position would be a long term position for the right candidate.

Must be available full-time, 40 hours per week, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Must have reliable transportation.
