We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and maintain the high standards of our kitchen operations.
Job Overview:
As the Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen activities, including prep management, inventory management, staff supervision, food consistency, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. You will work closely with our Executive Chef to create and execute seasonal menus that delight our members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring high performance and teamwork.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain our quality standards.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs.
- Develop and implement kitchen policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design seasonal menus.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Monitor kitchen cleanliness and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts.
- Strong communication skills.
- Dependability to work Wednesday through Sunday.
Benefits:
- Competitive pay within the range of $75,000 - $100,000 per year (possibly more as time goes on and performance is high)
