Front Office Administrator (Medical)
California, Los angeles, 90001 Los angeles USAWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Administrator to join our medical office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and performing administrative tasks in the office. The candidate should have a minimum of two years of medical office experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual skills are strongly desiredand medical billing experience is preferred. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
-Greet patients, answer phones, and respond to inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
-Schedule patient appointments, confirm appointments, and maintain the appointment schedule
-Verify patient insurance information and process insurance claims
-Prepare and maintain patient charts, including filing patient information and updating patient records
-Manage the front desk, ensuring that the reception area is clean and organized
-Process patient payments and manage the office's accounts receivable
-Communicate with patients to ensure that they have a positive experience at the office
-Maintain a high level of confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
-Assist with administrative tasks, such as scanning documents, ordering office supplies, and managing the office's electronic medical records system
Qualifications:
-Minimum of two years of medical office experience, with a strong understanding of medical office procedures and terminology
-Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
-Proficient in electronic medical records software
-Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
-English/Spanish skills strongly desired
-Billing experience preferred
