Seeking to train or hire experienced floor installer

We are seeking a Flooring Install Helper / Intern to become a part of our team! In this role, you will assist with the installation and repair of various types of flooring.

This is a full-time position, but part-time work may be available during the school year for students, depending on availability and desired work schedule.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the installation and removal of flooring

Furnish tools, materials, and supplies to other workers

Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Perform routine preventative maintenance

Track and organize all tools and supplies

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Strong desire to learn about learning about and providing quality work in the construction field

Previous experience in floor installation or another construction-related field is a bonus

Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment

Basic math skills, including the ability to use a measuring tape

Ability to handle physical workload (lift up to 50 pounds independently)

Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

Ability to prioritize and multitask when given multiple directions

Additional Qualifications:

Because we work in homes, a background check is required.
