Description

As a Cook at Wenatchee Rescue Mission, you will have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of our residents by preparing delicious and nutritious meals. We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team full-time.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook meals following menu plans and dietary restrictions

- Ensure food preparation areas are clean and sanitized

- Monitor food inventory and place orders as needed

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines

Requirements:

Proven experience as a cook for two years in a professional kitchen setting

Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques

Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Ability to stand for long periods

Ability to lift 40 lbs
