Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Coffee Service & Field Technician to join our team. This hybrid role combines technical expertise, customer service, and merchandising responsibilities to ensure our coffee kiosks are operating at peak performance while delivering an exceptional experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, a knack for problem-solving, and the flexibility to handle a variety of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation, Maintenance, and RepairsInstall, configure, and test coffee kiosks and related equipment at customer locationsPerform regular maintenance, including deep cleaning, software updates, and equipment repairsTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues to ensure optimal kiosk performance Ensure the equipment is calibrated and proactively maintained (e.g., brewers, pumps, payment systems)2. Inventory and LogisticsManage inventory of coffee products, consumables, and replacement partsRestock kiosks every 14 days with fresh ingredients, ensuring proper rotationTrack and reorder parts as needed to maintain readiness for repairs and replacements3. Customer Service and MerchandisingBuild positive relationships with site personnel and comply with location-specific requirementsSet up and maintain appealing coffee displays and promotional materialsEducate clients on machine usage, cleaning protocols, and coffee preparation techniques4. Administrative and Reporting TasksMonitor kiosk performance using online tools and promptly address alertsMaintain accurate records of service calls, inventory usage, and cash/coin collection

Qualifications:

1. Technical SkillsProven experience in coffee equipment service, vending machine maintenance, or a related technical fieldStrong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systemsAbility to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently2. Customer and Merchandising Skills3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsExperience in retail merchandising or customer-facing roles is a plus4. Additional RequirementsValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordNeed good working vehicle to handle this (in the short-term)Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as neededEntrepreneurial mindset with a passion for coffee and service excellence
