Peak Project Shift Supervisors - 2.5 month assignment
Washington, Seattle-tacoma, 98101 Seattle-tacoma USAJob Vision: This is a short term, project position for the Peak Season of November and December 2024. This position is expected to be full time, 40+ hours per week; Overtime for this position is offered and the position will be eligible for our Peak Season Overtime Bonus.We have two opportunities - Day shift: 630am to 3pm; Swing Shift - 3pm-1130pm. This position will work Monday through Friday as well as Overtime opportunities on Saturdays and Sundays through December 20, 2024.The Project Shift Supervisor role is responsible for overseeing the peak agency employees who are responsible for assisting the embroidery logo enhancement process and on-time shipping of Cutter & Buck and Clique apparel. The Project Shift Supervisor will oversee 12-15 agency employees to ensure daily attendance, assignments and productivity in multiple job duties and functions in the Embroidery division. The Project Shift Supervisor provides daily onsite support to agency employees and works directly with Shift Supervisors, Embroidery Production and Embroidery Finishing Managers to ensure assignments and needs are being addressed daily. Project Shift Supervisor will oversee timesheets, assignment changes of agency employees. Communicate with C&B Human Resources to maintain headcount during Peak Project. The Project Shift Supervisor is trained on Embroidery Coordination and Finishing tasks to assist agency employee training and quality. Job Summary and Essential Functions: Specifically, this position is responsible for:Ensuring agency employees arrive and are assigned duties daily.Daily check in with Shift Supervisor to ensure specific duties of the day are met.Work with HR to place, train and end agency employee assignments as appropriate.Filling in for vacant agency employees during project. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:The Peak Season Project Shift Supervisor must be able to handle high levels of stress satisfactorily and be congenial with other employees and customers at all time. The employee must not pose a threat to the safety of others.Must communicate with others in English; Vietnamese, Khmer or other languages are highly used in our operation.Can demonstrate knowledge of efficient production flow and production management concepts, e.g. Lean, Quality Assurance, and Theory of Constraints.Attention to detailed specs demonstrated.Has experience in all aspects of embroidery production workers’ duties and responsibilities is a plus.Ability to motivate hourly staff & works well as a member of the Seattle Fulfillment Center Management Team which requires consistently good people skills. Creates a comfortable work environment with clear expectations about productivity and quality.Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.Comfortable with Microsoft Office or similar programs: Outlook, Word, Excel.Experience and/or knowledge of Embtrak, BNet, SAP, WMi and other software to complete Enhancement work is a bonus.Able to write professional business communication. Education and Experience: High School Graduate 2+ years of production lead/supervisory experience. Production embroidery and apparel decoration experienceSupervision of large direct reporting staff in a production/finishing role.
