Full Time Registered Dental Assistant

We are looking for our next great Dental Assistant to join our team! We have a wonderful dental assistant retiring and would love to bring someone on to take over her role.

We are a privately owned, non-DSO practice, well established in the Issaquah area for over 40 years. Our office hours are 8 am - 5 pm (1 hr lunch), Mon-Thu.

CEREC - Experience with CEREC is a plus but not a requirement, the dentist does his own imaging and design

Eaglesoft - experience with Eaglesoft would be helpful

Duties:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations

- Take and develop dental x-rays and medical imaging

- Maintain patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic or Eaglesoft

- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures

- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care

- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns

- Assist with dental emergencies and provide first aid as needed

Qualifications:

- Dental assisting experience required

- Knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and procedures

- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Epic or Eaglesoft

- Proficient in taking dental x-rays and medical imaging

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy guidelines

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, especially in a pediatric setting

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively

Pay: $28.00 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
