Full-Time Dental Assistant

About the Job:

Summer Schedule (June, July & August):

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 6:30am – 4:15pm

Thursday 6:30am – 1:15pm

One Friday a month 6:30am-1:15pm (Fridays negotiable)

Regular Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 7:15am – 5:15pm

Thursday 7:15am – 2:15pm

One Friday a month 7:15am- 2:15pm (Fridays negotiable)

Pay: Starting at $25 per hour DOE

Practice Management Software: Eaglesoft

General Responsibilities (we will help train you if needed)

4-handed dentistry including: CEREC crowns, Crown preps, temporaries, & seats for lab crowns, Oral surgery and implants, Composite fillings

Taking x-rays & 3D CBCTs

Taking IO photos & digital impressions

Coronal polishing

Fluoride application

Sealants & PRRs

Topical anesthetic

Updating health histories & taking blood pressure

Setting up & turning over rooms

Sterilization

Charting

Perio chart recording

Laundry, garbage, & basic housekeeping

About You:

Required Experience & Skills:

Chairside experience (including internships)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and colleagues

Comfortable with technology

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Graduate or nearing the end of an accredited RDA program

Required Certifications:

Washington State RDA License

Bloodborne pathogens

CPR

OSHA/WISHA

HIPAA
