AWR of VA Inc. is a full service exterior building waterproofing and reconstruction contractor serving all of VA and NC. We specialize in all scopes of preservation, restoration and alterations of building exteriors including high rise and multi- unit residential projects.

We are looking for a Production Manager to oversee our Richmond production crews and help run multiple projects and crews. As a PM you would work closely with our customers, field personnel, vendors and owners.

We are looking for a career minded individual that can help us meet our ultimate goals of continuing the steady growth that we have achieved throughout the past three years. AWR has a reputation for providing customers with top quality work, completed on time and within budgets. The right individual will have the planning, scheduling and field knowledge that will enable us to continue that path. Also, our crews deserve a PM with a firm, experienced, understanding of construction related tasks, ideally originating from field knowledge to put to use in management. We are looking for someone to help us in building and maintaining morale, and lead by example with respect to time management, dependability and integrity in dealing with our customers and valuable field employees.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Overseeing all daily production related tasks

Assigning crews to specific projects ensuring the right people are assigned to the right tasks

Communicating daily/weekly/monthly production goals to all field personnel and ensuring that goals are met

Tracking production goals to evaluate progress and identify problems early on such as scope creep, personnel issues or projects that may be falling behind

Providing daily/weekly communication chain with clients and management

Material Ordering, Ensuring Delivery to job sites and working with warehouse manager and project superintendents to ensure materials are correct, ordered in a timely manner and on site at time needed

The ideal candidate would be well organized, possess leadership skills and demonstrate an understanding of the critical need for organization and be able to communicate that in the field. Understanding people and managing employees is crucial to success of any company, but especially within construction.

5 Years Construction Related Experience

5 Years of Management Experience

Self-Motivation and Dependability

Problem Solving Capabilities

Strong Written & Verbal Communication Skills

Knowledge & Familiarity of Computers and Various Programs (MS Project & Excel Proficiency a HUGE Plus)
