Duties

Recruit, train, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals

Set objectives, establish schedules, and create policies and procedures to ensure the achievement of sales targets and profitability

Collaborate with marketing and advertising teams to coordinate and execute successful sales promotions and events

Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure repeat and referral business

Manage and coordinate the new vehicle inventory and pricing strategies in accordance with company and manufacturer guidelines

Provide exceptional customer service by resolving any issues that may arise during the sales process

Stay up-to-date with automotive industry trends, technology, and regulations to ensure compliance and competitive advantage

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a New Car Sales Manager or equivalent role in the automotive industry

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and profitability targets

Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve their targets

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

Strong analytical abilities and experience with inventory management and pricing strategies

Knowledge of automotive industry trends, technology, and regulations

Passion for providing exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships

Responsibilities

The Sales Manager is hands-on closing deals on the sales floor

MUST have Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM experience as Sales Manager

Forecasts goals and objectives for sales, and gross on a monthly and annual basis

Manages vehicle inventory

The Sales Manager must be a strong communicator & closer and will be proactive in assisting our sales team

Works well with the manufacturer in submitting proper documentation to ensure we maximize all incentives and compensation offered to the dealer
