- Understanding the users’ perspective
- Design governance and working with design systems
- Assisting with the management of the UX backlog
- Must be a seasoned UX Program Manager /DesignOps Manager with Enterprise UX or Creative/digital agency background in a large company setting
- Collaborate with Designers, Product Managers, PMO, Technology teams, Marketing, and other key stakeholders to ensure on-schedule deliveries from the UX team
- Operationalize UX design process across all 7-Eleven digital product and its integration with the enterprise product development lifecycle
- Serve as the Single point of contact for engaging UX teams into new initiatives, checkpoints for the project status, provide escalation support and offer ways to mitigate program level risks
- Communicate Status reports to stakeholders and senior leadership for all the UX engagements regarding the project health, risks and escalation
- Maintain and track all the UX resources, schedules, utilization across all the product portfolio
- Work closely with PMO to ensure best practices are adopted for project planning and and escalation handling
- Work with internal product teams and other key stakeholders that require UX team support, to plan, manage deliverables, scope and other program needs
- Experience and knowledge of Agile software development, scrum methodologies and how it applies to UX design process
- PMP certification or actively working toward other Agile Scrum certification a plus
- Excellent presentation skills to communicate at various levels including senior executive leadership teams
- Solid experience in using program / project management software including Smartsheet, task management tool (such as Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- Provide support in vendor development, auditing, tracking and procurement of tools and assets
- Manage UX team budget for tools, subscriptions, team outing, conferences, registrations and help developing internal and external design community events
