This role is based in Houston, TX.As the electrical industry's global leader for explosion proof and hazardous environments, Eaton’s Crouse-Hinds Business is constantly pushing forward and looking ahead, advancing electrical and instrumentation products in new and innovative ways. Eaton's Crouse-Hinds Business manufactures over 100,000 products for NEC and IEC applications, including: conduit fittings and cable glands, industrial control and electrical apparatus, enclosures, industrial luminaires (including LED), plugs and receptacles, drilling and marine products, commercial construction, and solar solutions. The Houston, TX site is the home of a variety of family products all explosion-proof, with a focus on LED lighting fixtures and control panels. With 50 employees onsite, this plant is an excellent stepping stone into the organization, as it places a high value on talented professionals who are focused on problem solving and efficiency and looking to grow within the plant and Eaton as a whole.The expected annual salary range for this role is $43492.8 - $63789.44 a year. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:Provide sales support for Eaton HAC / MTL customers including channel partners, drive sales activity and provide all forms of pre and post order support. The position entails the use of SAP and Order Center to facilitate order status and will require working with plant personnel to address product questions, issues and shipment status. Manage day-to-day shipping support for the HAC Group through Domestic and International shipping, invoicing, returns, delivery schedules and order updates. Provide customer support on orders and shipping to meet customers’ expectations.In this role you will:
Receive and respond to incoming telephone calls regarding technical help, product application and selection, pricing and standard terms and conditions pertaining to the sale of the products.
Evaluate all calls and develop sales leads for the outside sales representative assisting with quotations support if needed.
Manage Inventory while keeping warehouse clean and safe, and take leadership as “Quality Control” as it relates to shipping requirements and customer satisfaction
Liaison and co-ordination with HAC / MTL UK internal departments and other Eaton business unit’s entities to ensure accurate information is delivered to the customer on their orders
Handles all Compliance with Syracuse for shipments (HTS, AES filing, documentation etc.)
Perform all end of month duties to recognize revenue (Invoicing and Walk the dock)
Provide all documentation requested (Certificate of Conformance, Certificate of Origin)
Be familiar with competitor's products and prices, and continuously increase knowledge of Eaton Crouse-Hinds products and their application advantages to customer needs.
Perform other Duties as assigned, from order management related functions to shipping. (Urgent shipping requests, expedite requests, return requests, order entry and order cancellations.)
Qualifications:Basic (Required) Qualifications:
Two-year Associates degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum of one (1) year of Inside Sales and Customer Service experience
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Houston, TX to be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors’ degree
Experience with SAP
Ability to work in a high volume, team-based environment and possess strong organizational skills.
