Back End Developer

Description We are in search of a Back End Developer to join our team in the tech industry, based in Houston, Texas. As a Back End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Python applications to meet business needs. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Write reusable, efficient, and testable code to enhance the functionality of our applications. Design and develop high-performance applications ensuring low-latency and high-availability. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Develop back-end components and connect the application with other web services. Support front-end developers by integrating their work with the Python application. Implement security measures and data protection protocols. Tune performance, balance loads, improve usability, and automate processes where necessary. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve complex technical issues. Participate in design discussions, perform code reviews, and suggest improvements. Stay updated with the latest technology trends and developments in Python. Requirements Proficiency in Django, a high-level Python web framework that encourages rapid development and clean, pragmatic design Strong knowledge of PowerShell, a task automation and configuration management framework from Microsoft Expertise in C# programming language, used for developing a range of applications Demonstrated understanding of server-side programming languages Proven experience with databases, web servers, and UI/UX design Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug and optimize code Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other developers Strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of version control systems such as Git Ability to manage multiple tasks and work towards deadlines Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
