Staff Accountant

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join the internal accounting function at Tremendous. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our accounting team. This role will work very closely with the Accounting Manager in month- and year-end closing, establishing accounting processes and documentation, and assisting with our annual financial audit. This position reports to the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities

Daily management of the Accounts Payable cycle

Daily management of banking activities

Execute accurate and timely reporting during the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, audit-ready documentation, accruals, and account reconciliations

Assist with process improvements and automation efforts to streamline accounting operations and improve the quality of monthly close and internal control environment

Assist with annual financial audits

Participate in monthly financial analysis, reporting, and other ad-hoc projects.
