Bilingual Accountant/Office Manager (Hybrid)

We are a small virtual boutique CPA firm based in Garland, TX, specializing in providing comprehensive tax and bookkeeping services to a diverse clientele. Our firm values excellence, efficiency, and client satisfaction above all else. We are currently seeking a dynamic and self-reliant individual to join our team as an Account Executive/Office Manager. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely 90% of the time, with occasional in-person meetings or visits to our Garland office.

Pay: $22-$28 to commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform monthly bookkeeping tasks for clients, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.

Prepare sales tax returns in compliance with state and local regulations.

Assist in the preparation of year-end financial reports for clients.

Handle the preparation of individual, partnership, C-corporation, and S-corporation tax returns.

Manage due date reminders and assist with deadline management for various tasks.

Efficiently manage to-do lists and task lists, ensuring all responsibilities are met in a timely manner.

Requirements:

Fluency in both Spanish and English is essential.

Proven experience with QuickBooks Online and ProConnect is strongly preferred.

Recent experience in public accounting, particularly in tax preparation, is highly desired.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-reliance and initiative.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work consistently.

Must have authorization to work in the US

Must be willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local laws and regulations.
