Surgical Office Nurse

We are seeking Full-time Office Nurse. The office nurse is responsible for delivering quality patient care. The RN handles phone calls from patients who are seeking medical information or medical attention. The RN will often assist the physician during procedures and will provide post procedure care. No evening, weekend, or holiday shifts.

Job Duties:

Document patient records

Prep patient for physician visit

Administer medications

Assist in procedures

Counsel patients and family members before, during and after treatment

Responsible for pre-procedure vital signs and chart review

Responsible for monitoring patients during and post procedure

Respond to inquiries, concerns and complaints from patients

Perioperative care including wound care, suture removal, and drain care

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

RN License or Certification for Medical Assistant

eClinicalworks (eCW) experience preferred

Wound and perioperative care experience

ACLS/BLS preferred, but not required to apply
