Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh, 15201 Pittsburgh USAUniversity of Pittsburgh School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics Division of Newborn MedicineThe Division of Newborn Medicine within the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine seeks candidates for an Assistant, Associate Professor or Professor position in the tenure track or with tenure. Candidates must be focused on basic science or translational research in areas related to neonatology. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D. Ph.D. degrees. Board certification in Neonatology is preferred. Teaching responsibilities may include Ph.D.-level graduate students, post-doctoral Ph.D. fellows, and M.D. fellows. Compensation will be commensurate with rank and experience.The successful candidate will demonstrate an independent research program in basic or translational pediatric neonatology that results in publications in high-quality peer-reviewed journals and funding from NIH and other federal and non-federal funding agencies. The selected candidate will interact and collaborate with investigators in the Department of Pediatrics across the University of Pittsburgh campus. Job Description and Qualifications The recruitment of an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor in the appointment non-tenure stream or tenure stream. Available positions are open to all applicants who hold doctoral-level education in the field of medicine MD, DO, are board certified or board eligible, are qualified for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and meet the minimum position credentials for the pediatric specialty to provide clinical service. Responsibilities will include patient care, teaching, and research as determined by the chairman and associated division chief.Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor positions in the tenure or non-tenure track at the University of Pittsburgh with rank and salary commensurate with experience and academic credentials.
