Lead 4 hours a day, 5 days a week $18 per hour from 5pm - 9ppm, Monday - Friday

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Housekeeper to oversee and manage the housekeeping team at Newton Square, PA . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial cleaning, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping team.

Ensure all areas of the airport are cleaned to the highest standards, including restrooms, waiting areas, offices, and other public spaces.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.

Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, equipment use, and safety procedures.

Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and in good working condition.

Respond promptly to any cleaning emergencies or special requests from airport management.

Maintain effective communication with airport staff, management, and other departments to ensure a seamless operation.

Prepare work schedules and assign tasks to housekeeping staff.

Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

This is a working lead position which includes daily housekeeping tasks

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality management or related field preferred.

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.

Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals used in commercial cleaning operations.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards and quality assurance.

Ability to communicate effectively with cleaning staff, airport management, and other stakeholders.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Physical stamina and dexterity to perform cleaning tasks and move around the airport terminal.

Willingness to undergo background checks and security screenings required for employment at the airport.

Previous cleaning experience a PLUS.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must Be Able To Lift 50+ pounds Regularly Every Day, Bend, Stretch, Climb Stairs, Climb A Ladder, Reach, Twist, Sit, Walk and squat. Must Be Comfortable Working On Feet For Entire Shift.
