Janitorial / Cleaning Tech Needed

Responsibilities:

- Cleaning - Wiping/disinfecting surfaces, sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, waxing, and emptying trash cans.

Sanitizing - Commercial cleaning uses chemicals similar to those used in households but to the extent to disinfect large areas. This prevents the spread of germs, and it is important to be aware of the fumes as they can cause harm if exposure is not controlled.

- Following Instruction - It is important to follow directions closely to ensure work is being performed properly. Paying close attention to detail is valuable, as our clients trust we are always doing our best.

- Problem Solving - While following instructions are a large part of the job, it is also just as important to be able to make the right decision in cases where communication may be limited. Problems may arise that require additional effort such as extra areas that need cleaning or removing spills before they cause permanent damage.

Skills:

- Commercial cleaning experience greatly preferred.

- Ability to carry and operate heavy equipment (50 lbs.-100lbs.) preferred.

- Knowledge of cleaning supplies and chemicals.

- All levels of education accepted.

- Background checks are not required.

- Ability to drive is preferred but not required.

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: Rates depend on candidate experience, Starting at $15.00 hourly
