Regional Sales Manager - Facility Validation & Environmental Monitoring

The service portfolio supports all stages of the drug development process and all functional areas of bio/pharmaceutical manufacturing, including method development, microbiology, process validation and quality control.Position SummaryEurofins BPT is seeking a results-oriented Regional Sales Manager to join our team, focusing on facility validation and environmental monitoring solutions for the biopharmaceutical and medical device industries. This role requires a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and a passion for helping clients maintain compliance and ensure the integrity of their operations.Regional Sales Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Achieve/exceed annual revenue target for facility validation and environmental monitoring service lines for Eurofins BPT by leveraging existing relationships to further penetrate accounts and prospecting for new accounts
Develop and implement a targeted sales strategy for facility validation services for new construction projects
Utilize industry websites, construction databases, trade publications, industry associations, government and regulatory filings, and market research reports to identify new construction
Work independently and with field sales team to execute in-person client meetings, lead discussions with stakeholders, and secure contracts for work within assigned service line(s).
Targeting 15 in-person client meetings/month with decision makers
Own and manage the sales activities of the business lines:
Reporting of wins, loses, and open opportunities monthly to sales and operational leadership.
Maintain opportunity pipeline via CRM system. Follow-up on outstanding proposals and capture details around opportunity closure.
Serve as subject matter expert in facility validation and environmental monitoring
Partner with Business Unit (BU) leaders to understand each laboratory’s capabilities and expertise to ensure programs are placed appropriately within the Eurofins BPT network.
Understand the client scientific, regulatory, and business needs and provide solutions to these needs through technical work scopes, establishing Eurofins BPT as the most experienced and best overall value for each specific program, emphasizing compliance with industry standards (e.g., FDA, cGMP, ISO).
Facilitate project hand-off meetings with project management and operations to communicate all details necessary for successful project execution.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify new business opportunities and maintain Eurofins BPT’s position as an innovative, solutions-oriented company.
Attend industry conferences and trade shows to network and promote our services.
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or advanced degree in life sciences, environmental sciences, or business administration
A minimum of 3 years of directly relevant sales experience in facility validation and/or environmental monitoring services
Experience with biopharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing processes, including new facility planning and construction
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and standards related to environmental monitoring and facility validation
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Ability to travel at least 40% of the time
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Location of the position is flexible with requirement of close access to a major airport.The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8a.m.-5p.m., with overtime as needed.
