This operational excellence in program and project management is the key to success in this transformation program driving innovation, optimizing operational efficiencies and fueling the bank's future.Obsessing over the program experience and operating efficiencies should be in your DNA, along with a visionary operations servicing mindset, and exceptional well managed judgment. You will provide critical leverage in overseeing key processes ensuring delivery, and effective communication across stakeholders. You will chart the course for scaling these processes and functionsand need to possess a strong intellect, and have a proven track record of influencing with excellent verbal and written communication skills working with a senior management team.General ResponsibilitiesDrive transformational process rigor in the program operationsLead and deliver the most critical operating processes to scale and establish operational efficiencyCast vision for operations excellence and build an inventory of the highest leverage process enhancements or automations that accelerate scale of the program operationsBuild and lead a team of high performing associates to deliver highly effective processes and controlsEnsure processes are operating at the pace of the program to ensure effective and timely decisioning, impediment mitigation and stakeholder communications.Lead the risk and audit activities for the program, ensuring the program is well managed at all timesPartnering cross-functionally with stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive program operating outcomesOversee and manage scaling of talent and onboarding activities to position the program for successApply strong communication skills to influence program operating efficiencies and effectiveness ofRegularly and systematically use data to uncover opportunities, track process performance, and influence decision makingPerform regular analysis of results and subsequent drivers to identify and implement continuous improvement efforts

Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $202,400 - $231,000 for Director, Project ManagementCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
