PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

This is a direct hire position, not a contract

Our client is the world’s leading supplier of reusable plastic containers, their pooling system ensures greater efficiency because their customers rent, not purchase their product - saving money, space, and time.

SUMMARY

The main accountability for the Shift Supervisor will be overall supervision of shift operations with a concentration on personnel safety, product quality, and effectiveness. They will follow and enforce all safety policies and utilize quality control processes to ensure the product exceeds quality standards.

SALARY: up to $60,000 DOE

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday (2nd Shift) 1:30pm -10:30pm

This is a salaried, supervisory position. Additional hours and/or schedule changes may be needed to accommodate for vacancies and workflow."

RESPONSIBILITIES

Documentation processes including shift summary sheets, product numbers, recollection/returns, quality processes and paperwork, and cleaning processes and paperwork. (10% of work time)

Maintain accurate inventory

Enforce safety policies and processes for all personnel within the plant.

Ensure all PPE is being worn per standards and ensure AIB standards are upheld.

Provide personnel training and enforcement of all operational functions within the facility.

Ensure all required expectations are being met or exceeded regarding quality, machine operation, productivity, and safety.

Follow best practices and SOPs concerning shift/machine operation ensuring effective and productive performance in keeping with the highest standards.

Support and assist in future duties/projects as assigned by management.

Manage all shift employees according to company policies.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a line supervisor, preferably within a high-volume production operation

3 + years of experience in a manufacturing environment with 25+ employees strongly preferred.

Proven planning and organizational skills with the ability to handle high volume.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both management and subordinates with a record of improving productivity.

Basic basic computer skills

Problem solving skills and work effectively in a team environment

Demonstrated success in handling multiple priorities.
