Load Builder/Forklift Operator

The Load Builder is responsible for the unloading of materials delivered by vendors as well as building loads for our drivers to deliver. Good communication and customer services skills are necessary at all times even when working conditions may be very demanding. This position requires the ability to safely operate a forklift in order to move materials throughout the yard and to load or unload trucks. Organization skills are required to place items back in stock and to follow paperwork procedures. Sorting through materials and getting them to right location using a forklift or by physical labor is required. Teamwork is essential to work towards a common goal each day and requires the ability to work without supervision.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: 1 year of forklift and warehouse or yard worker required. A prior forklift certification is preferred.

Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 75lbs, standing for long periods, stooping, crouching, hearing, crawling, climbing, pushing, pulling and working in adverse weather conditions.
