Overview

DESCHUTES CONSTRUCTION is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating heavy equipment and machinery, particularly in construction settings.

Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain various types of heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, skid steers, mini excavator, roller, etc

- Perform tasks related to civil construction

- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment on construction sites

- Follow project specifications and blueprints for accurate work execution

- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance

- Assist in building and construction activities as needed

Experience

- Prior experience in heavy equipment operation, with a focus on construction site work

- Knowledge of mechanical systems related to heavy equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour DOE

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
