Farm Helper for Livestock

Looking to hire part-time weekly help on our Pittsboro, NC farm. 6 hours per week

Qualifications:

16 years or older with reliable transportation

prefer experience with livestock and love of animals, additional training can be provided

ability to lift heavy hay and feed bags as needed, move manure to compost area

cleaning pens/coops for dwarf goats, alpacas, chickens

no criminal record, references are required

Duties:

Clean pens and barn/field area, some feeding. Socializing young goats and occasional hoof trimming.

Optional help with repair/build projects as needed for extra pay.

Compensation:

$16-20/hour depending on experience or internship credit
