Looking for an hvac service technician on the side who has an hvac license/EPA 608 Make some quick Christmas cash for just observing my professional quality mini split install/startup.

Engineer/contractor/owner installing two mini split heat pump systems at my family property in Etowah area - will have electrical, disconnect, mounting, hole drilling, line set routing, flare connections, torque, tools, everything covered.

I am a trained applied scientist/professoinal engineer and contractor and multi property owner and will install more mini splits so have decided to get my EPA 608 refrigerant license, invest in quality vacuum pump, vacuum micron gauge, nitrogen regulator, etc. to do installs on my properties.

For this install I am looking to pay cash for a licensed technician to simply observe my install/completion of vac test (video evidence of my nitrogen pressure test/triple purge) then simply fill out my warranty card with your credentials to receive your cash - after a quick - basically a drive by one hour site visit/inspection.

I will be nitrogen pressure testing to approx. low side max pressure (below max rated system pressure or at recommended R32 mini split system test pressur) - up to approx 500 psi nitrogen - then triple purging with nitrogen before pulling and sustaining vac on the lines. Will break vacuum with nitrogen.

I am looking at a Robinair or Fieldpiece or Navac 2 stage vacuum pump and fieldpiece or CPS micron vacuum gauge - to pull and verify 2 hose complete vacuum on my line sets to 100-200 microns or less. I will conduct vacuum decay test. I will be using appion core removal tools with side ports and shutoff valves to isolate gauges/remove cores.

I would like to pay a licensed hvac professional with EPA 608 to observe the completion of my test and system startup - doing none of the work (will provide video clips of previous activities/pressure test/leak test under nitrogen pressure etc) - you will arrive at end of vacuum test before I valve off/disconnect vacuum test equipment/gauges and release refrigerant into new line sets.

At this point I will pay you cash to fill out the warranty card with hvac license/EPA section 608 refrigerant certification info for my warranty. You only have to quickly observe my professional activies and then provide invoice/receipt with NC HVAC license and EPA 608 refrigerant certification credential info that I will keep for my files in the event I need manufacturer warranty coverage down the road.

Looking at an hour or two of your time including any time time/expenses traveling to my job.

Cash and gas and lunch expenses paid coming to my job - $200-300 minimum for an hour or two total one day after work.

I would also be looking for a regular HVAC tech for service and maintenance calls if you are in the general Brevard-Hendersonville-Asheville area.

Thank you. Please tell me about your experience with mini split installs and your EPA refrigerant/state license credentials.
