Woodshop Seeking Part-Time Assistant

What We're Looking For:

Seeking a part-time, freelance assistant to help on an as-needed basis with millwork, fabrication, sanding, finishing and cleanup.

Must have professional woodworking experience.

Likely 2-3 days/week to start, and schedule can be flexible. Ideally we'd chat every week about the upcoming days and decide together when is best for you to come in. We're about a 20m walk from the L or G train, but have a Citibike dock right outside, as well as parking right out front (if you drive).

About Us:

We are a small furniture / woodworking studio based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. I primarily work alone in the studio, and my wife handles admin/project management.

We primarily build standalone furniture commissions, as well as art pieces/sculpture, and occasionally build out restaurants/bars.

The studio is fully equiped with old machinery and I use a variety of hand tools. We have a dog and two cats at the studio who are very friendly. We value hard work and efficiency, as well as good energy and a positive attitude.
