Tile & Stone Contractor Assistant Field Super

Leading Long Island City Stone & Tile Installation Contractor, looking to hire an Assistant Field Supervisor/Foreman - to work and report from jobsites throughout NYC and the Boros.

Overall Responsibilities:

-Oversee daily manpower attendance, worker's safety and jobsite activities

-Generate field reports & maintain safety forms

-Assist the general Super and senior foreman with job specific tasks.

Duties:

-manage, supervise, and assist in construction activities at the job site

-order, schedule materials, and handle job site logistics

-attend weekly field meetings with general contractor/customers

-maintain and update construction schedules

-maintain and update construction safety forms

-monitor site attendance

Requirements:

-minimum 2 years experience working with a general contractor on commercial and residential projects

-read, interpret, and understand construction drawings

-basic tile/stone/countertop installation knowledge and skills

-strong verbal and communication skills

Must Have's:

OSHA 62

Ability to read and interpret drawings

Computer proficient
