comfortable working as a 1099 for $70-90K to start (via subcontractor ), and, in 12 months or less, transitioning to a W2 employee at $110K with amazing benefits and long-term security

advanced Excel skills / willing to complete an online assessment

familiar with port forwarding on a home network or other router

must pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Level 4 background check

ambitious, independent, and resilient, with a sense of humor

Overview:

We are seeking an eager implementation and deployment specialist to join a growing team in New York City. The Candidate will be responsible for performing product preparation, ID, quality checks, digital assignment, and preparation for deployment. Candidate will also be responsible for updating inventory management systems, updating excel spreadsheets and running reports. The position is located at the client facilities and requires a professional with customer facing experience. Detailed requirements below:

Essential Functions:

Plan deployment schedule and requirements

Communication with NYPD Network team to configure VLAN

Submit, monitor and document Service Requests for IP scope changes

Communicate timelines and scheduling with NYPD stakeholders

Manage onsite deployment of Body Worn Cameras ("BWC") and Docks for the NYPD

Assigning, naming, documentation of hardware

Assisting in onsite provisioning of BWC swaps

Certifying evidence upload of newly deployed hardware

Communicating deployment status and schedule to NYPD

Prepare camera kits and assign BWC for onsite walk-in provisioning

Monitor and maintain headquarters BWC supply to support ServiceDesk and walk-in provisioning requests

Assist in onsite implementation and testing

Communicate support status to NYPD resources

Create and optimize team spreadsheets in Excel

Work environment:

One Police Plaza (primary)

NYPD Remote Sites (secondary)

Home office (occasionally)

Physical demands:

Ability to lift and move boxes up to 40lbs throughout the shift

Ability to assemble deployment-ready products following exact work instructions using simple hand tools with zero defects and professional finish

Mandatory:

Ability to commute to lower Manhattan daily, Monday-Friday 8-6

Ability to learn new software quickly

Strong communications and interpersonal skills

Ability to work quickly and accurately while adhering to written instructions as outlined for assembly and testing

Must adhere to strict deployment timelines

Comfortable working at a fast pace on projects that require repetition

Experience working at a client site or on customer facing projects

Must work well with fellow team members and onsite customer

Ability to multitask: balancing multiple projects per day

Must dispose of all equipment packing material on a regular basis

Proficiency performing data-entry in MS Excel

Comfortable working with Windows computer hardware and software
