Hair Stylists
Looking for a talented Hair Stylist & Colorist with experience and positive attitude to join our salon team. Applicant should be professional, responsible, team player and enjoy working in a goal-oriented, high volume environment.
Job Requirements:
Valid NY State Cosmetology License required
3-4 years of salon experience preferred
Exceptional client service skills
Existing client base
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
Desire to work in a fast-paced salon environment within a growing company
Ability to work well with a diverse staff at all times
Fluent in English
Available to work on weekends
The Responsibilities:
Deliver efficient, consistent and stylish blowouts & salon services
Consult with each client based on the client journey and selected services
Build a client base through exceptional client service, attention and care within the salon
Provide & suggest the proper products and treatments for clients based on hair length, type and texture
Assist salon management in maintaining the salon and your own individual station
Receptionists
Experience in the field is required, and MUST speak fluent English
You must have excellent computer, telephone and customer service skills.
Professional attitude and appearance a must!
2 years minimum customer service experience, open availability preferred.
Candidates must be responsible, professional and have an energetic, upbeat attitude.
Job duties will include
- Meeting and greeting clients
-Answering phone calls in professional, courteous manner
-Booking appointments using online booking software
-Updating and maintaining said software
-Communicating with IT to solve technical difficulties
-Keeping inventory and placing orders, communicating with distributors
-Operating a cash register, checking out clients
-Closing out the cash register at the end of the day
-Monitoring Yelp account and customer feedback, solving customer disputes and complaints
-Ability to facilitate effective communication between stylists, assistants, and other team members
-Taking and keeping track of inventory
