Production and Sales Assistant Needed - Candles/ Homewares

Home goods studio with an emphasis on sustainable mediums and handmade, small batch production is seeking part-time Production Assistants for home fragrance and homewares, all of which are handmade at our studio. The Production Assistants will be responsible for all aspects of production, managing inventory and keeping the studio organized and clean. End products include candles, fragrance diffusers and sprays, jewelry trays, plant pots and trinket containers. Production experience is preferred but not necessary. The ideal candidate will have an interest in joining a fast-growing team. This is a part-time position.

Responsibilities:

Assist with pouring, sanding and sealing vessels

Assist with wicking, pouring, and topping candles

Label and package products

Assist with shipping orders

Requirements:

Basic understanding of the metric system and weight conversions

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Identify ways to improve creative and production processes

Strong communication skills

Strong analytical skills

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

We are looking to expand our team asap to get things in motion in advance of the holiday rush. Event production experience is a plus. Position starts as seasonal. Our first pop-up is December 16-17 and holiday warehouse sale is December 22-24. We will need sales support.
